About Abba's House
Abba’s House is a place of refuge and restoration for refugee women and their children who are in extreme or special circumstances. These families are given a chance to start out their journey in the United States in a loving, Christ-centered, and stable environment through the Abba's House ministry.
At the heart of the Abba's House ministry to refugees is a team of dedicated volunteers who pour into the guests who come to our ministry home. Much takes place on weekday mornings, as our volunteers work with the women on various life skills or with the children on age-appropriate learning and play. There are also evening and weekend opportunities to help them experience American life and orient to our culture. Whether you can serve one day every week or just once in a while, we need you in this ministry of hospitality and welcome!
If you would like to know more about Abba's House or be a part of upcoming ways to serve refugees, please join this group and a leader will contact you soon.
If you have any questions, please contact Julie Meissner (julie@abbashousetexas.com), our Abba’s House liaison.
