The Fight Against Human Trafficking | Volunteer Opportunity

Through our partner, Freedom Church Alliance, Bayou City Fellowship has learned of several urgent needs for a human trafficking partner organization, Rescue America.

They primarily need help with: 

1) Mobilizing volunteer Hotline Advocates 

This position is 100% virtual and can be done in any quiet, private location. Open to both men and women, the Hotline Advocate role requires the volunteer to be on-call for one 4-hour shift per week, ready to answer our Rescue America hotline when a survivor calls. The Hotline Advocate would then submit a short intake form with the survivor’s basic information and general situation. As soon as this form is submitted, Exit Strategists will take the next steps to help the survivor exit the life. If you are interested in volunteering, Apply here. 

2) Assisting with funding and/or promoting their funding needs to support another Exit Strategist (paid staff).
